Princess Party Games Play Cross The Moat

Here is a princess birthday party games the girls always enjoy at a princess party. It's also an easy game to prepare for and set up.

Cross the Moat is a relay race. You know how those work, right? You have two or three teams, a start line, a midpoint and a finish line. The finish line is right back at the start line. When one player is finished with her relay the next player goes.

You will need two "Lily Pads" for each relay team. You can make lily pads out of brown paper bags or construction paper. Cut out roundish lily pads out of your paper and color them green with chalk, crayons, markers or paint.

The object of this princess relay race is to cross the moat using only the lily pads to walk on. To do this, each princess must put a lily pad on the ground in front of her, step on it and then put the next lily pad down. When she steps on the second lily pad, the princess must pick up the first lily pad and place it in front of her. When the girls get back to the start line they hand the lily pads over to the next princess who must then cross the moat.
