Princess Party Games For 6 Year Olds

Princess party games for 6 year olds will come in very handy when you have eight little 6 year old princesses at your house. You will need some fun princess party game ideas for them.

Six year olds are usually very creative, having great imaginations. You need to choose party games that will keep them thinking. Choose games that fit their age and skill group. The following list of ideas may prove helpful.

Princess Crown Toss

To play Princess Crown Toss you will need to do a little bit of setting up. This is basically the same as the ring toss at the carnival. The girls take turns tossing the crowns (rings) onto the stakes. The stakes can either be standing princess dolls, small soda bottles or standing paper towel rolls.

This game is easy to make and set up yourself. Set the stakes far enough away so it is a challenge for the girls to get the rings around them. You can also set the stakes very close to each other to make it more difficult to get the rings around them.

You want this game to look very easy, but actually be very difficult to win.

Name That Princess

Name that princess is a royal version of Charades. Since most six year olds can read this game will no doubt be a crowd pleaser. Make a list of clues about “famous” princesses, including fairy tale as well as Disney princesses. Have the girls take turns reading the clues aloud. The girl who guesses the princess is next to read the clues.

Princess Treasure Hunt

Princess treasure hunt is lots of fun at a Princess party. Make a list of clues (on crown shaped paper) that all lead to a prize.

Have the girls work as a team to figure out where the clues are leading. The prize should consist of something all the girls can have a part of. Goody bags filled with “princess” items are a good option.

These are just a few fun party game ideas for your princess party guests to play. I’m sure with a bit of ingenuity you can come up with several more. Many stores now carry princess themed versions of regular games as well. Just be sure that each little girl feels like the princess she is while enjoying her party games and fun.
