Princess Says

Pick the party birthday girl to lead the first round of "Princess Says." This game for 5 year olds is the one where the Princess will lead her royal subjects who must follow every command she makes, whether it be by gesture or voice. The only rule is the subjects must only obey when the princess says "Princess Says"...The leader can try to trick everyone and of course, whoever moves without the appropriate Princess Says command is out. Yes, anyone who makes a movement without the princess' approval cannot move on to the next round, and the winner of each round is the next princess to make the rules.

Musical Thrones

Musical Thrones is always fun at a princess party and it is a game that 5 year olds enjoy playing. Make sure to put out chairs (thrones) for every guest. Set them out in a circle. Of course, you can decorate them with streamers or balloons if you like to make them throne like. Keep the streamers off the floor. You don't want anyone tripping over them.

The idea of this game is when the music starts the girls start to walk around the thrones. When the music starts each girl must sit in a chair.

During the first round everyone has a throne...but for the second round, one throne is removed. Whoever doesn't get a throne to sit on when the music stops is out! One throne is removed each round until only one is left. Have a prize for the winner, who becomes the Queen.
