Musical Thrones

Musical Thrones a fun game for the little princess in your castle. Once upon a time you had a little girl and ever since then, you have treated her just like a fairy tale princess...she is your "Dream Come True". And now it's time for your little girl's birthday party and you need some fun princess games for the younger crowd.

Try Musical Thrones to entertain and thrill your royal party guests. Get your Party Songs and music from the Disney Princess CD's. They are filled with music from the Disney Princess movies...and little girls love to dance, sing or play musical party games to these princess party songs.

Playing Musical Thrones is just like playing musical chairs...but, you add a little bit of material to your chairs. Throw some fabric over each chair and tie it on with ribbon. Make a bow in the back of the chair so it looks like a fancy seat ready for a Princess. You have just made each chair a throne! Make sure you have enough chairs for each guest who is playing this game. Stand each child in front of a chair, the chairs should be in a circle.

Start the music and tell the children to start walking around the thrones in a circle. Instruct them to keep walking until the music stops...then they must sit in the closest throne. Every round a throne must be removed and the child who doesn't get a throne to sit on must leave the game. It's okay though, because the girls who are out of the game are going to begin making your party princess craft project...or work on some printable princess coloring sheets!

This is a good game for 4, 5 and 6 year olds and your young princesses will enjoy it. Make sure to take a picture of these princesses walking around the thrones, and take one of each girl seated on a throne too. It will make a fun party keepsake, and a nice surprise to add to a thank you note.
